Biomedical Engineer / Technician

The Biomedical Technician will work closely with biomedical engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of medical equipment and systems. This includes devices such as pacemakers, MRI machines, X-ray units, and other hospital-based medical technologies. The role involves building, installing, inspecting, calibrating, repairing, and maintaining biomedical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. The technician will also support the operational readiness and cost-effective management of all medical-technical systems within the facility.
Location: Rompin, Pahang

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of biomedical equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and calibration to ensure reliability and safety.
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning medical devices.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Support the procurement and inventory management of biomedical devices and spare parts.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and hospital policies.
  • Collaborate with medical and technical staff to ensure proper usage and care of equipment.

  • Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Electronics, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience in servicing medical devices is an added advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of hospital safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Finance & Procurement Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to support our Finance and Procurement functions, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations at PSH. This role plays a key part in managing petty cash, processing invoices, and coordinating procurement activities to maintain uninterrupted operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling financial documentation with accuracy, supporting vendor and contractor engagements, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures. With a strong focus on organization and cost efficiency, this position contributes to maintaining operational excellence and supporting overall business performance.
Location: Rompin, Pahang

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Finance
  • Manage, control, and reconcile petty cash funds.
  • Process petty cash requests from staff and verify supporting receipts.
  • Ensure proper documentation by attaching receipts to petty cash forms and submitting them to the Regional Office.
  • Compile and submit invoices from vendors and sub-contractors to the Regional Office in a timely manner.
  • Procurement
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering and delivery to ensure uninterrupted PSH operations.
  • Evaluate suppliers, products, and services to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in line with approved procurement requirements.
  • Prepare and issue Letters of Award (LOA) to contractors and suppliers upon mutual agreement on costs and terms.

  • Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Procurement, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in finance and/or procurement functions.
  • Knowledge of petty cash handling, invoice processing, and procurement procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with good organizational and communication skills.
